I remember Mama in a happy way.

Growing up with my grandma, she instilled in me many values, etiquettes, and morals which I constantly revert to without thoughts. Do not, wear your shoes in the house. Wash your hands as soon as you get into the house. Do not sit on the bed with your street clothes on. Do not talk with food in your mouth. Do not; do not; do not ….

As I sat on the train, I was taken aback when I saw this young man took his sneakers off and settled himself comfortably in his seat.

I was taught that shoes on feet do not belong on seats.

I have seen many people riding the train and put their dirty shoes on the seat without regards for the next person who will sit there. I commend and applaud this young man for his show of ethical character – respect and concern for others.

Proverbs 22:6 KJV says, “Train up a child in the way he should go: and when he is old, he will not depart from it.

Ok, I said it!
