Whenever I wake up from my sleep, I consider it a gift from my creator. It is customary all over the world to say thank you when you receive a gift from someone. So, thank you to my creator for waking me up this morning. I say good morning to you because I am thankful for the gift of life. I say good morning to you because I am grateful to be given another chance to start over. I say good morning to you because the creator entrusts me with this gift so that I can be of purpose to someone out there. And in return for this miraculous gift, I am using this platform to share with you, to inspire and motivate you. Good morning, you (in my singing voice). I am sending you positive energy, I am sending you good vibrations, and I am sending you hope.
I hope your day will be a successful and productive one in whatever you do. I hope that you will get infected with my good morning (with a smile on my face) bug, and you will pass it on to the next person you meet. My grandmother, who raised me, taught me to say good morning. And it was used throughout my culture. We say good morning as a sign of respect. We say good morning as being courteous. Growing up, if I passed an elderly person and didn’t say good morning, it was considered disrespectful. I would get reprimanded for it. “Have manners,” my grandmother would say, “Manners will take you a long way.”
Good morning, You!
Ok, I said it!
I love this piece. Good morning beautiful. Thanking my creator for another day, another day to make my wrongs right, and for new mercies. Thank you Lord.
